Hey Folks, there is a new Mapping Contest going on on gamereplays.org. It is about newTeam Maps.

Deadline for submission:
18th Dec 2020

Prizes:
– $100 total prize pool, sponsored by akabolony
– $20 awarded per best map (so 5x prizes in total)
– This prize pool may be increased as I speak to more sponsors
– Prizes paid by PayPal
– Judging will be done via public poll on gamereplays

Maps we need:
The whole idea here is to get more team-game maps. So you can only enter under the following categories
– 2v2 maps
– 3v3 maps
– 4v4 maps
– If your map is an FFA map but can also be used for 2v2,3v3,4v4 then that is fine to enter too
– There will be minimum one prize per category

Rules
– New maps only (existing maps .e.g Naval Port Reyes and Tournament C will not be considered)
– Please post your maps here
– Maps must be your own work
– You may enter unlimited times (e.g. if you have 5 maps from 2v2 3v3 4v4, you may enter them all and if they are good enough, you may win 5 times)
– You are free to edit existing official or unofficial maps and increase the size but beware you might not win a prize if not much work has gone in. Example – Increasing El Scorcho from a 2v2 to 3v3 map can be entered, providing you make adjustments to allow for a 3rd player. Make-Make was a huge 1v1 map which is now a 2v2 map is another example. That Make-Make map could also be increased to 3v3
– Please only submit final versions of maps. This topic is not for testing but for final versions only. Please test outside of this topic / seek feedback from experts and other players privately
– You are allowed to add weird shit like Civilian Supply Drop Zones etc but please note this may not be popular with all players
– I would steer away from lots of text at the beginning and also other weird stuff like huts that give money
– No complex INI files that require a reboot of game after transfer
